The post below has a link to my pet site, and it has a page dedicated to Sammie, we had only had her for a few weeks when I made that site. We still have her, and we also kept one of her babies back when she had her first litter of pups, and her name is Dottie. Dottie is bigger than her mother is , because she isnt a full Rat Terrier, her dad was a bull terrier. Dottie was just a young girl in this pic, but she is much bigger now.
When I was a little girl, dad brought home this cute little pig. He had been up to Jerry and Barbara Winns house, and their pig had just had a bunch of little ones, this little pig was the runt and he gave it to dad for me. I kept her in a box in the house, and when I would watch T.V. she would lay on my stomach and watch it with me. We fed her on a bottle, and she became a very large PIG. Needles to say she finally had to go out to live in a pen. I thought I would post this picture, many of you have seen it before, since I have it on my Pet website. I was talking with Teresa Gist (Brasher) on email today, and she emailed me some really cute pictrures of her grandson Jackson. So I am posting his picture here on my blog. Teresa is my cousin for those of you visiting my blog that are not family. Teresa is the oldest girl of Aunt Lucilles. Her and her husband Monte live in Memphis. It has been so good talking with her on email. Jackson belongs to their son Clint and his wife. Isnt he a cutie!
Good Morning to all or evening, which ever it may be when you check in to my BLOG. I thought I would post a picture of myself at my desk, since this is the place I am usually at when I do my posting. It seems that at home anymore, I can't seem to get any time on the computer, Kirtis has gotten a lap top, and he is on it all the time. He now has the line to where he can hook it up and watch T.V. with us in the livingroom. Every once in a great while, he will say ( hey mom ya want to check you email real quick.)
As you can tell by the picture there are some mounted Fish, and Deer behind me, that is not my area, it belongs toTom Smalling. We are fixing to move into a new building, CANT WAIT!
Thought I would post a picture of my husbands cousin Steve who is SINGLE and lives in MICHIGAN. He left some comments on some of my postings, so I thought it would be nice to put a face to the postings for all of my friends and family. He is pictured on the left, and on the right is his son Ben, he has another son named Nate. I couldnt find my pictrure that had all 3 on it. Ben is around Kirtis's age, about 19 I think. I am not sure how old Nate is, guessing around 8 or 9. Steve says he may be visiting around March, I hope he gets to come for the visit, we do not get to see them very often at all. That would be GREAT!
When Dana and Mike went to Nashville this past weekend to celebrate Mike's birthday they took a few friends with them. This is Dana and Mikka Robinson.I think they had a really good time.
We went to see my sister Dana in a Karaoke contest last night at Jossies in Batesville, AR. There were only 4 contestants that had entered when we arrived, so Dana's boyfriend Mike entered, and also our friend Trish Brightwell entered. This part of the contest was just to pick 100.00 winners, it will last up untill May, which is when all the winners will try for the 10,000 of course she has to win the semi finals in march to compete for the big money. Out of the 7 entries last night, they chose 4, and out of those 4 , Dana, Mike and Trish were chosen, then they preformed another song, and Dana and Mike were chosen. It was fun, we had a great time, it was interesing to see Dana and Mike competing aganist each other. DANA WON! So now she sings again on MARCH 30th. The picture above was taken last weekend in Nashville, when Dana, Mike and some friends went there to celebrate Mike's Birthday.Anyone that thinks they may want to go in March let me know, so I can make enough reservations. We had about 18 there last night.
