My Desk at Work!

This is where I set from 8:00 to 5:00. You can see of course the computer that I use, and then to the right of the computer is the Credit Card maching , and the telephone (which by the way is my least favorite thing to do). I use the adding machine to the left quite often since one of my daily duties is to add and post all money to the computer. See the little black cord leading up the left sideof the wall, that is my little mini fan (which is needed pretty often), they keep the office way to warm to suite me. The fan sits on a little wndow opening which faces on of the halls in the building, I also have pictrures of the kids sitting there. Ok, sorry for the bordem of where I work, just thought I would share with you my everyday work day.

Elvis is visiting !

Check out Dana's front room. She has an antique keyboard sitting in this room and ELVIS has decided to stop in a play it himself. HA!

One of our Local Banks ( FNB), had these poster statues in there bank this past month. My dad asked if when they were finished , that Dana would like to have them for her music room.

As you can see they haven't made it to the music room just yet.
If you arent careful he kinda scare s you when you first walk in the front door.

Caleb Bell

Caleb waits while the JR boys Basketball game finishes, and he sits and visits with some of us in the blechers. Caleb's Aunt Tammy came out to watch him, and also brought with her Caden her other nephew (Audra's Lueker's little boy) Caden sat by Ashley during the game, so I snapped a shot of them too.

DO You Remember?

Ok, here are 3 houses . They are all located in Lafe. Can anyone tell me whom they all belong too, or who they use to belong to. (a Hint) They all have somthing to do with my family.

Come on TIm Brasher, I know you can figure these out.

Weekend at the Cabin

It was my birthday Sunday, so we went up to the cabin Saturday around noon, and stayed until about 3:00 on Sunday. It rained the entire time we were there, but I thought it was nice. We just watched and listened to it rain, and watched movies. It was a very relaxing weekend.

After arriving back home on Sunday mom and dad had us all over for cake and ice cream. Then we sat around the table and played a few games, we had a good time.

Hello Everyone

It has been a busy week, I haven't had much time to post to my blog. I am at Dana's house today for lunch, and thought I would use my lunch hour to update my blog a little. Dana has fast internet also, so I use her computer some during the days that I dont have a lot to do at lunch time.
I hope everyone is doing good, and I hope all of you are still checking in on the blog, although there hasn't been alot going on here for a few days. I dont want you to get out of the habit. We have just been so busy.

I think we may be selling most of our goats this spring. They are starting to become a lot of work. Well actually the real reason is, that now that Steve has the cabin he likes spending time there on the weekends, and he knows that it causes me have to feed goats and stuff, and there just isnt enough time to do all the stuff we want to do and take care of them too. We will be going camping alot this summer, and it will just make it a lot easier. I will miss them some though, I really like the kidding season, wilt all the little ones running around . they are so much fun to watch. Well I did up untill this year. It seems it isnt aa fun if you are the only one having to run back and forth to the barn taking care of them. Kidding season is over now, and we have about 15 new babies. I am still bottle feeding Nemo twic a day. He is somthing else, very spoiled. He follows Steve around at the barn and is under if feet all the time. Steve say he is a nusance. Bottle babies are just like that, they are always right under you feet.

Well, I am going to go for now, maybe raid Dana's fridge and see if I can find somthing to eat. she usually doesn't have much in it.

Take Care

Aunt Barb and Uncle Val's Home in Florida

Aunt Barbara sent me this email, and attached this picture of there home and pretty Crepe Myrtles.

Here are some pictures of our house in the summer, that our neighbor took. We have these beautiful crepe myrtles, in the front of the house that bloom all summer, and we never see them, for we are up north then. The two along the driveway are fushia, but the tree is purple, I don;t know if you can see the tree or not, but you can see our palm tree. I had mentioned it to her and she took pictures of them so we could see them. She said they are beautiful all summer.

Susie's Quilt Block

My friend Susie in Georgia made Quilt Block for her mom and dad, it looks like she put a lot of work into it. I thought I would share it with you. Susie is always making and working on somthing. She knitted me a shawl last year, and I love it.

Steve's Shishcabobs

Steve fixed Shishcabobs on the night before New Years Eve, some friends came over to visit and play a little ping pong, so we decided to grill. They were wonderful. They were layered with deer steak, onion, potatoes, jalapeno peppers, bacon. They were sprinkled with garlic salt, dry strawberry seasoning, salt and pepper. While they were grilling they were drizzeled with Sweet Baby Ray's barbeque sauce. YUM!
I made a pan of Dressing (stove top ) as some of you may call it, and had corn on the cob, and fried green beans. Oh, and macroni and cheese for the kids.

The picture of the kabobs is before we grilled them.
