SMILE!

Our family and our friends Jesse, Judy and their boys Derek and Brian arrived at Sam A Baker around 8:30 am on Friday morning. Our friends Terry , Melissa and their daughter Brittany arrived on the night before around 6:00. We had 3 really nice camping stops and had really good weather for camping out. The water was great, JUST RIGHT for swimming. The kids and the MEN of course had a blast swinging out on the rope. The women just enjoyed relaxing and floating around on our tubes.

Sunday morning we all got up around 7:00 and started getting things packed up, we wanted to go home a little earlier than usuall, all had some things they wanted to get done around the house. GUESS WHAT! we had a flat on the camper about 30 min into the drive home, and after getting the spare tire on we realized it was VERY low on air. Steve took it back off and we unhooked the camper and left it at the side of the highway and headed to Poplar Bluff to get air put in the tire, then back we went to get it put back on and headed home again , we made a quick stop at McDonalds in Corning to get a little lunch.

My dad's 70th Birthday!

We all went to my mom and dads for his birthday on July 26th, we had cake , Ice Cream, and a very large watermelon. The watermelon came from Kirts, he is produce magager at Country Mart, and he found a nice large pretty mellon to bring. Kirtis is overseeing his dad cut the watermelon . My mom also had a birthday on July 2st, Steve and I were at the cabin that weekend and she had a Class reunion so we missed having a get together for her. We just took her gift for her to open when we had dads. Actually we got them somthing together . LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD!

Frank and Jane visit us at our cabin

Steve's cousin Frank and his wife Jane came to visit us at our cabin the day before the reunion. We sure enjoyed their visit, and hope that they will get to come again. It had just rained right before they arrived and the river bank was a little muddy, Frank got his nice new shoes all muddy. Sorry about that FRANK.

We had a fish fry, with all the trimmings from the fish that Steve and Jesse had caught from the river that day, well I think we had to thaw some out from the freezer too, HA! wasnt a good fishing day.

The pictrure is a little blury, the lighting just wasnt right.

There were 10 adults and 4 children at the McLeskey Reunion 2006, it was held at Lind and Bill's house. It was a very hot day, and since there were not many there we had it inside. Good food as always and I enjoyed visiting with the family, Ashley and I attended by ourselves , Steve had lots to do that day, he canned tomato juice, worked on the cabin, and had some people to see about building a house. I didnt take many picture's but here are a few. For those of you who were not there, WE MISSED YOU!

Ashley and Charlie are acting silly again, they decided to cool off outside under the water hose, then got the idea of filling the wheelbarrell full of water and taking a swim. HA!
