Kirtis made a slideshow for Hazel and Douglas for Christmas, he used a bunch of photo's that we had taken over the years, some of them were Christmas pic's , and other occasions that they were over at our house. We also got a few older pic's of Hazel and Douglas when they were young, and just married. I thought some of you MCLESKEY's might injoy a few of them.

Enjoy the snow in Michigan

Steve's Aunt Barbara sent me these picture of Callie (her grandaughter) and of her son Kurt (Callie's dad). Looks like Callie is really enjoying the snow. I sure wish we could get some snow. Ashley has been so disappointed that we havent gotten any yet.

My painting project

I am sure that there are some of you who do not check my diary, so I wanted to post a few pic's on herd of the rooms that Kirtis and I have been painting in my house. Kirtis has done a very good job, I am really proud of them. The lighting is not good on a couple of the pic's so the colors of the paint look much lighter than they actually are. You can read more about my painting experiences on my Day to Day Diary, the link is over on the right of this blog. The green color is in my master bath, and the other is what I put in my breakfast room, and my kitchen.

Blankets for the cabin

For Christmas Kirtis and I made Steve some blankets for the beds at the cabin. We also made one for the back of the couch and 2 pillows for the couch. We took 2 pieces of fleece 3 yards each and cut all around them and then tied each cut together. They make really warm blankets, and they are so soft. Dana made one for Steve a couple of years ago, and he loved it. It is on the full bed at the cabin. I took a couple of pictures while we were up there this past weekend of the blankets, and a few other snap shots too.
