We lost Steve's mom to cancer on August 22, 2008. Her suffering is over, and she is now in a much better place with our Lord.

Our family is doing good, Douglas is back at work, and has been trying to keep busy. Thank you to everyone who brought food to the house, and for all the lovely plants and flowers that were sent also. Thanks for all your concerns , prayers, and love during our time of greif. We love you all.

The link above is a few pictures that were taken at Douglas's house and at ours. Scott& Kim McLeskey and their boys ( Scott is Steve's cousin) stayed at our house, we enjoyed having them as we always do when they come down to Arkansas. We had many visitors and we enjoyed being with all of our loved ones.

God Bless You All

Me leading our new bull around the lot

We have been trying to tame our new young bull, we lead him a little every afternoon. He is getting better all the time. This was actually taken about a month or so ago. He was still being very stuborn, and you can tell that I am very careful with him as not to spooke him. HA! That wouldn't be a pretty site to see me get drug all over the barn lot now would it.

Carly and Lily in their new tree house

My cousin Bridget Newsom sent me a couple of pictures of her girls enjoying their new tree house that their dad put up for them. So sorry Bridget that I am just now getting around to sharing the picures. I actually had forgotten about getting them and ran on to them today while looking for some other pics. I always enjoy getting pic's from other family and friends, and sharing them on my blog .
Looks like that cat likes it as well.

I know that I have some of these pictures posted on my Diary, but sometime's some of you have trouble getting my slideshows to open, so I thought I would post a few of them her as well. Kirtis came out and spent on evening and night with us, so he took some picures for me.

Little Bryaden (Update)

NaNa (Judy) called me around 11:20, Baby Brayden is doing good, they are going to keep him over night since he is so small, but will let them return home tomorrow morning. NaNa bought him the biggest stuffed animal that she could find there in the hospital gift shop, and has been bragging about how good all the nurses and doctors are there. I know that they are glad it is all over and now NaNa can start putting some weight on him. HA! Look out Felicia she will be feeding him all that good ole home cooked stuff as soon as he is old enough.

Little Brayden (Judy's grandson)

Brayden went into surgery around 9:45 this morning, he is at the Childrens hospital in Little Rock. Judy said surgery should last around 1 hour, and if all goes well they will all get to come home later this evening. Please keep him in your prayers. CORRECTION! Brayden's NaNa says that it is the Pyloric Valve which is at the end of the stomach that is not opening up to let the food pass from stomach to Intestines, that is what they are reparing, he should have any more problems after this is corrected.

DEAR FRIENDS AND FAMILY,

Our friends Judy and Jesse have lost a family member to cancer, Jesse's step mom Ann Jackson (Sims) passed away this morning around 6 am. Please keep their families in your prayers.

ALSO.....Judy's little grandson Brayden, is on his way to Little Rock today , for surgery that will take place tonight or tomorrow. He has a tube that is not opening correctly in his esophagus, and is not allowing his food to get to his stomach. He has been having trouble spiting up all his milk for several weeks now. SOOOOOOOOOOO please keep this little one in your prayers too, and his mommy and nana.
