I am back! We had a relly nice time on our tirp, it was a little cool, but that didnt stop us from having a good time. The resort was really nice, we had a very nice view of the river, which ran right behind the cabin. We had breakfast at the Gaston Rosort restaurant on Saturday morning, and then headed off to a little site seeing, we went up to the Top of the Ozark Tower., which was great. It was so pretty, and very cold. You could see for miles and miles. We went up in a glass elavator, and then walked another 3 or 4 flight of staris to get to the top.
After our site seeing, we went on to Mountain Home, where we did some shopping. We sent through alot of Antique stores, and we were amazed at how many antiques there were that were things that we used to have as kids. HA! I dont even want to think about what that means. Before returning back to the Resort we took in a movie around 4:00 ( THE GAURDIAN) It was a very good movie. Then we went to Chili's to have dinner.
Arriving back at the cabin, we watched some T.V. and snacked around on all the junk food that we brought with us. We all intended to get up some what earlier than the day before so we could lazy around and stuff before 11:00 check out.........but.....2 of us didnt make it up untill 9:00. So we hurried around and got our showers taken, and then we did a small nature trail to take a look at some peacocks, guines, and phesants that were on the grounds. We made a pretty quick trip out of that, since it was starting to rain a little.
Last before leaving, we had a pretty long visit at the Gaston Gift Shop. We all picked up a few Gaston Suoviner's for our familys back home. I bought Steve a real nice pair of Camo Slipper, for the cabin, and the kids got a Souviner cup.
On the way back home we ate dinner at Mountain Home , and then stoped at Hardy and did some more shopping.
BIG THANKS TO SANDRA, FOR TAKING US ALONG WITH HER, AND SHARING HER GIFT CERTIFIC TO GASTONS WITH US.
Make sure you check out the Gaston Picture Album to the right for more pictures of our trip.
