Ashley and Charlie on Easter

Charlie spent the night with Ashley on Saturday night, so that she could go to Easter Service with us. The girls tie dyed their eggs this year. They hid eggs on Sunday afternoon for the little ones at church.

Weekend at the cabin.

Steve, Ashley and myself along with friends Judy , Jesse and Derek went up to the cabin around 6:00 P.M on Friday evening. The guys left almost as soon as we got there, to go set out there lines. Judy and I stayed behind to get grocerys put away and get supper started. We fried deer burger , onions, and squash together, and then poured it all over a bed of yellow rice, and we had corn on the cob to go along with it. After supper we made chcolate chip cookies. We spent Friday night just relaxing and watched a movie. Ashley was sick all day Friday and didnt go to school, so she spend Fiday evening on the couch and up in the bunk bed, she didnt feel much like socializing. We all go a good nights rest...........(well most of us) I think Judy 's back hurt kept her up some during the night. The men got up around 6 am and headed out to check the lines, the water was pretty high, so they came back without any fish. They had fixed themselves breakfast before leaving so Judy and I made out own breakfast when we got up around 7:30. Ashley was feeling much better, and she had a litte breakfast too. Asghle and Derek spent a lot of the day playing 2 new games that I had gotten Ashley for her PlayStation. The men worked on getting the roof put on our new deck, and then we spent some of the afternoon after it was done target practicing with the 22's. We made spaghetti for lunch, and then for supper we fried catfish. Our friends Terry and Melissa came up and joined us too, Terry came up and helped with the roof and Melissa came a little later in the evening.

Judy and I beat the socks off Steve and Jesse at several games of PITCH! But then they returned the favor on Sunday eveing. HA!

The men fianlly checked the lines on Sunday morning again and brought home a few catfish. We cleaned them and put them in freezeer for next time.

We all ended up coming home around 4:00 on Sunday afternoon.

Steve of course headed up to check on the cows, and ashley and I made a run to Walmart . Kirtis came out before we left for Walmart and we took another walk behind the house and took some more pictures. (BOY DOES HE LOVE THE NEW CAMERA). Ashley wasnt at home the last time we took pic's so she went with us too.

Steve and I didnt have supper untill around 7:00, we made shaved Hot roast beef sandwhiches with swiss cheese. Ashely and I spent the rest of the evening working on homework and checking emails, cleaning house etc. while (yep u guessed it) Steve watched hunting shows, and took naps.

It is Monday and as usuall busy at work.
