Sunday evening we had a tornado that came over our place, and over the Marmaduke area. Marmaduke got hit really bad, lots of homes destroyed and ones not destroyed were damaged. It was a scary and emotional day. We were in Steve's mom and dad's basement when it came over, and it did lots of damage to trees and property, but missed our homes. Douglas had some damage to the back of his house but mostly his trees and barns. It got our barns across the highway where our goats are. Steve has been working on them the last 2 days to get them in shape enough to keep our goats in and keep them from getting out and getting in the highway.
I have added some pictues of the damage that we had at our place and Steve's dad's place.
I consider ourselves lucky, their were lots of people who lost their homes and had much more damage than we did. KEEP THEM IN YOUR PRAYERS.

I'm Sonny's niece in Michigan. My mom is your Aunt Juanita. Just surfing your blog and I'm so glad you are all ok from the storm. I don't think I've ever met Steve (who is my cousin). We were at the McLeskey family reunion about 12 years ago when it was held at Linda's house. I don't know if you were there or not......
I love to keep up with family, and I will tell Steve you posted a message, what is your name. I love you mom, she is a sweet lady. My son Kirtis who is 21 now, remembers her from her visits, and he always liked her and took right up with her when he was a smaller boy, because he was shy and she talked to him alot. please email me and send me your name and email address. Paula- I'm so glad you and Steve are ok. I talked to Mom and Dad, Beth and Gary Cook (who used to live down the road from you) so i knew you weren't damaged too bad, but it was really good to see your blog and know you were ok. I saw the pictures of Marmaduke. It looks awful. You all are in our prayers. Tell everyone we said hello.
